Vet Pulz – Easy Cloud-Based Veterinary Management Software

Vet Pulz is a comprehensive veterinary practice management software with intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. It can be customized to meet the needs of small clinics with a doctor and a helper, as well as large veterinary hospitals. It covers almost all functional areas, such as patient registration, queue management, electronic medical record management, pharmacy, cashier (billing), warding and boarding, radiology, inventory management, and a reports module. It was developed as a joint effort between academia (both veterinary and software engineering) and practising veterinarians.

Queue Management:
QR-based queue Management benefits staff by making things easier. Patients can use QR codes to register themselves and join the queue, which means less work for staff. This helps
staff focus better on taking care of patients instead of spending time on administrative tasks. There is a comprehensive schedule for making appointments online through Pet Pulz, the companion mobile app, or by phone. Patients will be added to a queue that displays their token number, the purpose of the visit, and customer relation management details.

Accessible Case Record:
Vet Pulz is a web-based solution that helps veterinarians maintain electronic medical records and access them from anywhere and on any device. They can view patients’ clinical histories with the images and reports attached to each clinic visit. It records each clinical encounter (referred to as case record hereafter) as SOAP (i.e., Subjective, Objective, Assessment, & Plan) notes. Doctors can attach images and lab reports to each case record. Vaccinations and follow-ups can be recorded with dates when reminders should be sent to patients via SMS. This efficiency not only saves valuable time for doctors but also enhances accuracy and ensures timely billing, ultimately contributing to improved workflow and increased productivity within the practice.

Income and Expense Management:
Vet Pulz can handle many cashier points at the hospital. The doctor can make a comprehensive bill adding all prescribed medicines, clinical procedures, and services. This bill can be modified at the pharmacy and pet shop. Patients can make payments to any cashier. The software solution is capable of segmenting payments by cards and cash. It can handle credit payments and advanced payments. The system is capable of handling syndicates with many doctors. Daily performance reports capture individual doctor’s contributions. Expenses can also be recorded in the system to generate income-expenditure statements daily, weekly, or monthly.

Inventory Management:
By utilizing Vet Pulz for inventory management, veterinary practices can experience streamlined operations and improved efficiency. With Vet Pulz, practices can easily track inventory levels, monitor usage patterns, and automate reordering processes. This ensures that essential supplies and medications are always available when needed, reducing the risk of stockouts and minimizing disruptions to patient care. Moreover, Vet Pulz helps practices optimize inventory levels, preventing overstocking and reducing unnecessary expenses. By enhancing inventory management processes, Vet Pulz enables practices to operate more efficiently, reduce costs, and improve profitability.

Reports & Insights:
Vet Pulz offers a comprehensive range of reports that focus mainly on providing an overview of various aspects. These reports include the BIN Card Report, Client List, Cost of Goods Sold Report, Debtor Detail History Report, Debtor Outstanding Aging Report, Doctor’s Performance
(Full and Professional), Main Stock Update, Purchase Detail Report, Sales & Cash Receipt Report, Stock Report, and Stock Status. By accessing these reports, businesses can gain insights into their client base, cost of goods sold, debtor history and outstanding amounts, doctor performance, stock updates, purchase details, sales records, and current stock status, facilitating informed decision-making and efficient operation management.

Warding and Boarding:

Vet Pulz handles inward patient management for hospitals that provide warding and boarding services. It has a user-friendly interface for managing cages with different facilities to cater to clients with different requirements. Boarded patients’ food and drug management is done to manage those pets effectively during their stay and to collect all the expenses into a consolidated bill.

PACS and Radiographs:

Vet Pulz is comprised of a Picture Archiving and Communication System that can methodically store and transfer DICOM images taken by various laboratory devices. Doctors can attach these images to case records and render them using a DICOM viewer, allowing for high flexibility in rendering images without losing their details.

Vet Pulz is carefully crafted to cover most of a veterinary clinic/hospital’s salient functions and evolves further to add value to the clinic’s clinical care. It elevates both the revenue and productivity of a clinic/hospital. Vet Pulz, a software that has proven its excellence, won the Gold Award at the National Best Quality Software Awards (NBQSA) in the Health and Well-being category and the Overall Bronz Award at the 2022 Award ceremony. This recognition is a testament to its quality and reliability, providing veterinarians and pet owners with peace of mind.
